Visibility Project
Sarah Jae and Makenna want to photograph and document the lives of LGBTQIA+ people and showcase how strong, beautiful, and resilient we are—especially during the Trump administration in 2025. We especially want to highlight the impact of the hateful transphobic policies placed forth by this admin and how it has affected our transgender and nonbinary community.
This project aims to interview LGBTQIA+ people and couples about their experience being queer, and then have a professional photography session. The photos and story will be published on our website and eventually in a book. A portion of the book’s proceeds will be donated to the Trevor Project.
